Fish Me! Terms of Service 

Effective Date: September 16, 2026 

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Wide Game Studio, a company registered in Türkiye ("Company", "we", "our", "us"), governing your access to and use of the Fish Me! game (the "Game") and related services, including our website at www.widegamestudio.com and associated social media and Discord channels (collectively, the "Services"). The Game is available on the Meta Horizon Store and is a free-to-play social VR fishing game with optional in-app purchases. By creating an account, downloading, installing, or otherwise accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Fish Me! Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services. If you are accessing the Services on behalf of a child, you represent that you are that child's parent or legal guardian and that you agree to these Terms on the child's behalf, as described in Section 3 below. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website or within the Game, and the "Effective Date" will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. The Services 

Fish Me! is a free-to-play, social virtual reality fishing game. Core gameplay, social features, and cosmetic content are provided at no cost; certain gear, cosmetics, bundles, and virtual currency are available for optional purchase as described in Section 6. The Services require a compatible Meta headset and a Meta account in good standing, and depend on Meta's platform, store, and networking infrastructure being available. We do not control Meta's platform and are not responsible for its availability, performance, or policies.

2. Eligibility 

You must be at least 13 years old to create and manage your own account and agree to these Terms. If you are between the ages of 10 and 12 (or the minimum age in your country at which a minor may hold a supervised account), your account must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian through Meta's parent-managed account tools, and that parent or guardian is responsible for your compliance with these Terms. The Game is not intended for children under the age applicable minimum permitted by Meta's platform and your local law, and we do not knowingly permit use of the Services by anyone below that age without the required parental account setup. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements, or, if you are a parent or guardian, that you are setting up and supervising the account on behalf of an eligible child.

3. Accounts

• You access the Services through a linked Meta account. Your Fish Me! account is tied to that Meta account, and your use of it is also subject to Meta's terms and privacy policy.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and headset access, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• You may not create or use more than one account to circumvent restrictions, bans, or in-game limits, or share your account with others.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts as described in Section 11.

4. License to Use the Game 

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Game on a compatible device for your own non-commercial entertainment purposes. This license does not give you any ownership interest in the Game, its content, or any virtual items. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the Company and its licensors. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of the Game or its content;

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;

• Use bots, scripts, macros, or other automated means to access or play the Game;

• Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage, or use cheats, hacks, mods, or unauthorized third-party software;

• Circumvent or interfere with anti-cheat, security, or age-verification measures;

• Use the Game to violate any applicable law or third-party right.

5. User Conduct and Community Standards 

Fish Me! is a social experience, and we expect all players to treat each other with respect, in keeping with the age range of our community. When using in-game chat, emotes, voice, or other communication features, you agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other players;

• Post or transmit content that is sexually explicit, hateful, discriminatory, violent, or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience that includes minors;

• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;

• Solicit personal information from other players, especially minors;

• Advertise, promote, or solicit for commercial purposes without our consent;

• Disrupt gameplay for other players, including through griefing, spamming, or abuse of reporting tools. We may use automated tools and human review to monitor conduct and content for compliance with these Terms and applicable platform policies, and we may remove content or restrict accounts that violate this Section, as described in Section 11.

6. User-Generated Content 

Any content you create, upload, or transmit through the Services — including chat messages, in-game reports, bug descriptions, screenshots, videos, and feedback ("User Content") — remains yours, but you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that User Content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Services. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any third-party right or applicable law. We may remove or refuse to display User Content at our discretion, including content that violates Section 5.

7. Virtual Items, Virtual Currency, and Purchases

• Virtual Currency and Items: The Game may offer virtual currency (e.g., in-game coins or gems) and virtual items (e.g., rods, gear, cosmetics, bundles) for use within the Game ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items may be earned through gameplay or purchased with real money through the Meta payment system.

• No Real-World Value: Virtual Currency and Virtual Items have no monetary value, are not redeemable for real currency, and are not your property — they represent a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use them within the Game, subject to these Terms.

• Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable: Except as required by applicable law or Meta's refund policies, purchases of Virtual Currency and Virtual Items are final and non-refundable, and Virtual Currency and Virtual Items may not be sold, traded, gifted, or transferred outside the Game.

• Pricing and Availability: We may change the availability, pricing, or composition of Virtual Currency, Virtual Items, and bundles at any time.

• Payment Processing: All purchases are processed by Meta or its payment providers under their own terms. We do not store your full payment card information; see our Privacy Policy for details on what transaction data we receive.

• Loss of Access: If your account is suspended or terminated for violating these Terms, you may lose access to Virtual Currency and Virtual Items without compensation, except where prohibited by applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property 

The Game, including its software, characters, art, audio, trademarks, and all other content (excluding User Content), is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. "Fish Me!", the Fish Me! logo, and related marks are trademarks of the Company. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except as permitted by Meta's or the Company's official fan content guidelines, if any. If you believe content on the Services infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at the email address in Section 14 with sufficient detail for us to investigate.

9. Third-Party Services 

The Services rely on and integrate with Meta's platform, store, and account systems, and may link to or integrate with other third-party services (e.g., Discord, YouTube, analytics providers). Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

10. Disclaimers 

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. VIRTUAL REALITY USE CARRIES INHERENT RISKS (INCLUDING MOTION DISCOMFORT AND PHYSICAL SPACE HAZARDS); PLEASE FOLLOW META'S HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDANCE FOR YOUR HEADSET. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of Liability; 

Termination To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its officers, employees, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct that harms other players or the Services, or if required by law or by Meta's platform policies. You may stop using the Services and, where supported, delete your account at any time. Sections 4 (as to restrictions), 6 through 10, and 12 through 14 survive termination.

12. Indemnification 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Services, except to the extent caused by our own violation of law.

13. Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Türkiye, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

15. Miscellaneous 

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements on this subject. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
