Established in 2022, the Hall of Fame honors the legacy of exceptional student-athletes, coaches, and distinguished service members whose dedication and achievements have shaped Whitnall athletics. Here you will find information about past inductees, nomination criteria, and the process for submitting nominations. We take great pride in recognizing those whose contributions exemplify excellence, sportsmanship, and commitment to the Whitnall community.

• To give deserved recognition to outstanding Whitnall athletes, coaches, and supportive individuals of athletics.

• To publicly celebrate Whitnall’s outstanding athletic tradition on an annual basis through an induction process.

• To illustrate to current students and community members those individuals who have been instrumental in creating the outstanding Whitnall athletic tradition. 

• To promote continued interest in the Whitnall athletic program via alumni and community members.

• The successes he or she achieved while a student athlete at Whitnall High School.

• The successes he or she achieved while serving as a coach at Whitnall High School.

• Distinguished service to Whitnall High School Athletics.

• Nominations may be submitted by members of the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee, members of the community, and the general public. 

• Whitnall High School Athletic Hall of Fame nomination forms, including detailed information on selection criteria and process, are available in the Whitnall High School Athletic Office, on this website, or on the Whitnall High School website.

• All nominations must be submitted on the official nomination form. Nominations are due by July 1st (16 weeks prior to ceremony). 

• The nominator must gather pertinent information on the nominee and inform him/her of such to make sure he/she is willing to receive the award, if selected. The nominator will be responsible to meet the deadlines set forth by the committee.

• The Whitnall Athletic Hall of Fame recognition will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 in the WHS Main Gym. The induction will take place before the Boys Varsity Basketball game versus Brown Deer High School at 6:30pm.

• The induction ceremony is open to the public and all community members are encouraged to attend. 

• To attend community members must purchase a ticket to the basketball game. Tickets can be purchased at https://events.hometownticketing.com/ .
