The Conveyor Control Card provides power and control over the sites conveyor system utilizing the onboard 24 volt power of the TCS2.
The TCS2 Conveyor card has the following connections:
1. Note: The conveyor card connections are surfaced on the Motherboard, not the conveyor card.
2. Connectors.
a. Stop Switch connections- qty.8 Stop switches.
b. Start Switch connections- qty.4 Start switches.
c. Interlock relay output connections- qty.3 normally open dry contact Interlock relay outputs.
d. Conveyor relay output connection- qty.1 normally open dry contact Conveyor relay output.
3. Indicators.
a. Stop Switch Indicator LEDs (red)
i. ANY 1-8 LED: On when any stop switch is pressed.
ii. STOP SWITCHES 1 through 8: On when stop switch connected to input is pressed.
● Example: A stop switch is connected to stop switch input 1, and stop switch connected to stop switch input 2. If only stop switch input 1 is pressed, the stop switch LED 1 will be on, but stop switch LED 2 will be off.
b. INTERLOCK LED (green).
i. On when Interlock relays are on. Interlock relays turn on when the start button is pressed while no stop switches are pressed.
c. CONVEYOR ON LED (green).
i. On when conveyor relay is on. Note: Interlock LED must be on for the conveyor relay and CONVEYOR ON LED to turn on.
d. CONVEYOR FAULT LED (red).
i. On steady when the state of the CONVEYOR ON LED and Conveyor relay does not match the state the TunnelWatch software is telling it to be in. Example: The TunnelWatch software is telling the conveyor relay to turn on, but the conveyor override switch is set to OFF.
e. CONVEYOR override switch.
i. ON. Turns the conveyor relay on. Note: The INTERLOCK relay (and LED) must be on for the conveyor relay (and LED) to turn on.
ii. OFF. Forces the conveyor relay to the OFF position.
iii. AUTO. Allows the TunnelWatch software to control the conveyor relay.
1. Turn the TCS2 main power switch off.
2. Pull the Conveyor Control card out of its socket on the Motherboard.
3. Align the new Conveyor Control card with the card guides in the Conveyor Control card slot on the motherboard.
4. Push the Conveyor Control card firmly into the socket.
5. Turn the TCS2 main power switch on.
