21st Century Community Learning Center at EES

According to the U.S. Department of Education that provides funding for 21st Century Community Learning Centers, the program "supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children who are currently scoring slightly below grade level". The goal is with extra assistance these students will be able to meet grade level expectations.

Daily Schedule at the Edgewood Elementary Site:

3:00 - 3:30 Check In and Snack

3:30 - 4:30 Grade Level Tutoring in Literacy and Math

4:30 - 5:30 Multi Grade Level Enrichment Opportunities

5:30 - 6:00 Dinner and Dismissal (Car students may take their meal with them.)
