(School Library Advisory Committee)

School Library Advisory Council (SLAC) helps to  oversee the acquisition and removal of library books in our district. Members of the council are appointed by each school board member with the majority being parents who have children enrolled in the district.   SLAC is responsible for reviewing new and donated library acquisitions before they are presented for school board approval, ensuring greater parental involvement and transparency in school library collection development.
