This course is the third in a three-part sequence. This series uses an integrated approach to cover algebra and geometry concepts and skills.
(1 credit)
Prerequisite: Math I, II, III
This course is designed for students interested in STEM-based careers. Students will study vectors and matrix quantities, sequences and series, parametric equations, and conic sections.
(1 credit)
Prerequisite: Pre-Calculus
This course is designed for students interested in STEM-based careers and builds upon the concepts learned in pre-calculus. Students will study limits, derivatives, and an introduction to integrals.
(1 credit)
Students will explore mathematical content and its real-world applications in order to encourage the use of the subject to solve problems encountered in daily life. This course is designed for students planning to attend a TCAT, join the military, or enter the workforce after high school.
(1 credit)
This course focuses on collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Competition of the SAILS modules allows for remediation to be waived at the college level.
(1 credit)
May be used as a 4th Math or Science
Physics is the science of how and why things work the way they do. This branch of science is concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics uses includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms. Physics uses algebraic mathematical processes in order to solve problems.
(1 credit) - Motlow
This course allows students to take a college-level course while in high school. Upon completion, students will earn college credit while satisfying high school graduation requirements.
