LET 1 (1 credit) - Can substitute for a Wellness credit
Junior Reserve Training Corps. This is an introduction to JROTC with emphasis on physical training, uniform wear, and drill. Core subjects include leadership skills, learning and study skills, and understanding yourself.
LET 2 (1 credit) - Can substitute for a Physical Education credit
This course is similar in subject matter to LET 1. Core subjects include healthy lifestyles, nutrition, first aid, drug awareness and citizenship.
LET 3 (1 credit)
This course emphasizes leadership and communication skills with practical application of leadership. In addition, subjects include presenting skills, managing conflict through negotiation, and physical education.
LET 4 (1 credit)
This course emphasizes practical application of leadership. In addition, subjects include planning skills, study skills, and physical education.
LET 5 (1 credit)
This course emphasizes leadership and communication with practical application of leadership and group projects. In addition, subjects include physical education, college and technical school financing, resume and portfolio preparation, and career exploration.
LET 6 (1 credit)
This course emphasizes leadership and communication with practical application of leadership. In addition, subjects include physical education, high school finance education, personal development, world geography, and the relationship between the U.S. and the world.
LET 7 (1 credit)
This course emphasizes leadership and communication with practical application of leadership. In addition, most students are active members of a working staff responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of various inter curricular activities and teams. Core subjects include high school financial planning, physical education, and U.S. government structure and procedures.
LET 8 (1 credit)
This course emphasizes leadership and communication with practical application of leadership. In addition, most students are active members of a working staff responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of various inter curricular activities and teams. Core subjects include physical education, American History, and citizenship responsibilities.
