Hi! My name is Mrs. Gerrells, This is my third year teaching at WCMS and I LOVE it!! I was born and raised in Dahlonega where I graduated from Lumpkin High School in 2013. I received my Bachelors in Middle Grades Math and Science from the University of North Georgia in 2017. I actually graduated college a few months early, which led to my long-term substitute position at Lumpkin Middle teaching 7th grade science. My passion is teaching math, and I love introducing students to their first "foreign language" HA! This year will be the first time the majority of students are introduced to negative numbers so get ready.

I am married to my best friend, Zach, and we have a little boy named Henry. We also have another little boy on the way. I am so excited to see what life has in store for us. We love to travel and go on new adventures, but we are home bodies and don't like to stay gone too long. We were high school sweethearts so we have been together for a while LOL. We are also members of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Dahlonega, where I serve as the nursery Sunday school teacher. I can't wait to see what this year has in store.
