My name is Mrs. Walden and I am one of the Lead Special Education Teachers at WCHS! My name, "Sandy" means "Helper of Mankind." I feel that my purpose in life is to help others, and I feel that I can best fulfill this calling through my role as a teacher. I began my teaching career at WCHS, and then later transferred to the WCNGA. This year we have joined together as one faculty, so I am back at WCHS!

On a personal note, I am an only child that has always loved being around other people!! My parents use to say that I have never met a stranger! I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two beautiful children. My family attends Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church in Cleveland, and we are very involved and dedicated to our church! As far as hobbies and favorite past-times, I honestly stay so busy with my career, family, and church that there's not a lot of time left over for anything else! I do however, love reading books by Karen Kingsbury, who is a famous Christian Fiction author. I also love shopping and jewelry like most females!!

I love my job and the life that God has blessed me with. My favorite biblical scripture comes from Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know what I have planned for you, says the Lord. I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope."
