It is a pleasure to teach kids the value of physical activity and to teach them skills that they can use throughout their lifetime to achieve goals or just simply have fun! I am looking forward to a fantastic year in our P.E. classroom.

The 1st 9 Weeks P.E. Schedule
The schedule for grades is as follows:
8:00 - 8:50 - Planning
8:50 - 9:40 - 1st Grade - Smith/Monday, Kelley/ Tuesday, Herold/Wednesday, Campbell /Thursday.
9:40 - 10:30 - Kindergarten - Martin/Monday; Nix/Tuesday; Clark/Wednesday; Chambers/Thursday.
10:30 - 11:20 - 2nd Grade - Wills/Monday; Daniel/Tuesday; Attaway/Wednesday; Ash/Thursday.
12:05 - 12:55 - 4th Grade - Jarrard/Tuesday; Ehrhart/Wednesday; and Dunn/Thursday.
12:55 - 1:45- Rogers PK/ 5th Grade - Rogers/Monday; Slay/Tuesday; Hooten/Wednesday; Holiday/Thurs.
1:45 - 2:35 - Stevens PK/ 3rd Grade - Stevens/Monday; Sisco/Tuesday; Sargent/Wed. and Sanders/Thurs.
On Fridays, 2 classes from each grade will meet in the gym to do creative movement activities.

Education:
Coach Nix received a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1992 from North Georgia College & State University. She received her Teaching Certificate in Health and Physical Education in 1997 from North Georgia College & State University. In addition, she received her Masters in Language Arts Education in 2009 from North Georgia College and State University.
Experience:
Coach Nix has worked in the White County School System since 1997. She worked three years at Jack P. Nix as the P.E. paraprofessional, 8 years at White County Middle School as a P.E./Health teacher and has worked at Mossy Creek Elementary since its opening in 2008.
Bio:
Hello: I graduated high school in 1987. I attended Johnson High in Hall County. I graduated from North Georgia College & State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. After working a few years in two different law firms, I decided to obtain a Teaching Certificate in Physical Education. I graduated in 1997 from North Georgia College with a Teaching Certificate in Health/Physical Education.
I am married to Tim Nix and we have no children. I love weight training, ;pickle ball, working outdoors, and all types of animals.
I love Physical Education because it involves sports of course and I love making a difference in the lives of children by teaching them about the importance of daily physical activity and good nutrition.
