Bio

I am originally from Irwinton in Middle Georgia. After I graduated from Georgia College and State University in 1989, I moved to Covington,Georgia to begin my teaching career. That same year, I met my husband, Ken Knight. We lived in Covington for seventeen years, before moving to Cleveland,Georgia. I was very blessed to find a teaching position at White County Middle School. I have coached Middle School Softball and both Softball and Tennis at the High School. I have two amazing stepsons, Shawn and Tom, a wonderful daughter-in-law Cassandra, and three awesome grandsons, Christopher, Carson, and Cassius. I have a Jack Russell Terrier, Belle that enjoys walks, tug of war with her toys and playing fetch with her ball. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, riding my mountain bike, playing tennis and relaxing in the swing on the front porch.

Experience

This is my 28th year of teaching Middle School (6th-8th) and I taught 4th grade for 2 years. Prior to transferring to the White County School System in 2006, I taught in the Newton County School System for 17 years.
