Mount Yonah Elementary
I started my teaching career with Hall County Schools upon graduating from North Georgia College in Dahlonega. After teaching there five years, I decided to take some time off to be a stay at home mom to my three children.
As my children grew older, I stayed active in the teaching profession by working with Habersham County Schools as a long-term substitute teacher. This gave me many wonderful experiences in many great classrooms and still allowed me the flexibility of being a part time employee.
I also served a 4-year term on the Habersham County Board of Education during my time home with my children. This was a wonderful experience that allowed me to work with many wonderful people to better our schools.
My children are older now...and I am happy to be back at work full time. I look forward to working with the students at Mount Yonah this year!
