About Me

I am truly happy being a part of White County School’s ESOL instructional team! As a traveling teacher, it is my pleasure to serve the second language students in three of our county’s schools. My primary focus is on language development... helping my students in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It is so exciting to spread my love of literacy, and to watch the children grow in their oral and written expression. I also have wonderful opportunities to get involved with my students and their families.

I attended an extensive ESOL training program while teaching at a multi-cultural elementary school in South Florida. After receiving my endorsement, I enjoyed spending the next 7 years teaching ESOL to students from many different countries and cultures... such amazing and memorable experiences! For the past several years, I have enjoyed working with my wonderful ESOL students and families in North Georgia.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University, a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and a Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University. In addition, I earned my National Board Certification in Early Childhood.

I look forward to making this an interesting and enjoyable school year!
