Bio:

I graduated from Piedmont College with a B.A. Degree in Middle School Social Studies and Language Arts, and received a Masters Degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama. I also am certified to teach K-5th grades.

This is my 18th year in education. I was a classroom teacher for 14 years and this is my fourth year as a school counselor. While I loved being in the classroom with students, being a School Counselor has afforded me the opportunity to be able to communicate more and gain a better understanding of the daily struggles many students are facing. My goal is for every student to know that they always have a choice, and that they can learn something in every situation (even the bad ones).

My husband Ronnie and I have been blessed with three amazing children: Kristopher, Hollie, and Adelyn.
