Bio:

Originally from the mountains of upstate New York, I settled here in 1988 to help care for my maternal grandmother. I have been married to Tommy Williams for 30 years. We have five children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild! All of our children were educated in the White County system. We live in downtown Sautee and are members of Nacoochee Presbyterian Church.

The 2020-21 school year marks my twenty-ninth year of teaching. I began as a paraprofessional at Jack P. Nix Primary School under the direction of Jeannette Dixon. I obtained my teaching certificate in 1995 and began teaching second grade. After five years, the second grade was moved to the White County Elementary School and I had the great pleasure of working for Donna Allegood. WCES later became Mt. Yonah Elementary School and I worked there for a year. In August of 2004, the White County Ninth Grade Academy opened and I transferred there to teach 9th grade English. I was blessed to serve under both Rodney Green and Stephen Gill. After teaching 9th and 10th grade English and drama for nine years, I made the move to the middle school and am currently teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade drama. I am looking forward to a great year!
