Mr: John Osborne

Bio:

Mr. Osborne has been in education since 1985. He began his career as a teacher of moderately and severely intellectually disabled students where he earned the honor as Cedar Shoals High School and Clarke County Teacher of the Year. He went on to be a finalist for State Teacher of the Year and was inducted into the Clarke County School District, Foundation for Excellence Hall of Fame.

Mr. Osborne has served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal and assistant superintendent during his tenure in education. He became the principal of White County High School in 2010. Mr. Osborne is also serving as Principal at the Ninth Grade Academy.

Mr. Osborne holds a Bachelors Degree in Special Education, a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. He is married to Robin Leard Osborne who is also a teacher. They have three children. Their oldest daughter Allie is a graduate of The Medical College of Georgia and is a practicing registered nurse in Pediatrics at Athens regional Medical Center. Their middle child Jake is a graduate of West Point and serves as an army officer in the 101st Airborne. Bailey is their youngest child and currently a college student.
