I grew up in Cleveland and graduated from White County High School in 2002. After high school, I went to college and graduated with a degree in Interior Design. I worked in that field for 8 years before returning to school to pursue a degree in Education. In 2012, I graduated from North Georgia College & State University with a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Interrelated Special Education.
From 2012-2016, I taught special education in both a resource and co-teach environment at White County Intermediate School. The 2016-2017 school year began my first year as a homeroom teacher. I am excited about teaching 3rd grade at Jack P. Nix Elementary School!
My husband, Stephen, is also a native of White County. He is a lineman for Georgia Power. We have three children: Caroline, Grady, and Reagan. I enjoy camping, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
This is going to be a great year! If you have any questions, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
