I graduated from White County High School in 1996. I pursued my bachelor's degree at Piedmont College and graduated in 2000. To further my education, I attended North Georgia College and State University where I received my Master's Degree in 2005. A few years later, I returned to Piedmont College to obtain my Education Specialist Degree in Instruction in 2008.

I began teaching at White County Middle School in the year 2000 after completing my student teaching there. I taught there for 8 years before transferring to teach Special Education at WCHS in 2008 where I remained until 2015 when I returned to WCMS to be the Lead Special Education Teacher.

I have been married to my husband Hal for 18 years. I have one daughter named Kendall and one son named Maddox. I am a huge Disney geek and enjoy going to Jazzercise, shopping, and spending time with my family.
