Mrs. Anglin spent most of her childhood in Southwest Florida. When she was a little girl, she wanted to be a teacher because she loved school so much. Some of her favorite book series included Little House on the Prairie and the Nancy Drew Mysteries. She moved to Macon, Georgia in 1986 where she went to college, and has lived here in Georgia ever since!

She has been married to Scott Anglin for 26 years and has three children who are the apples of her eye! Her oldest daughter is attending the University of Georgia, her son is starting at the University of North Georgia, and her youngest is in the White County School System. She also has a tan poodle named Coco and a black and white cat named Muffin. She enjoys reading, yoga, cooking, and being outdoors in our beautiful mountains. She is so eager to see her 5th grade students this year!

Mrs. Anglin's first teaching experience was at M.M. Burdell Elementary in Macon, Georgia for 3 years. She taught Title students in 2nd and 3rd grade and had her own 2nd grade classroom, as well. She then taught kindergarten at Morgan County Primary School in Madison, Georgia for 4 years.

After staying home to be a full-time mom for several years, she taught pre-school at Resurrection Episcopal Preschool for two years. Then, she was able to join the Mount Yonah Elementary Staff as a paraprofessional for a total of five years, working in kindergarten, special education, and as an interventionst (K-5). Teaching 4th grade for two years, and 3rd grade for several years was a great experience and she is excited about teaching 5th grade Math and Science this year!
