Bio:

I started working at White County High School in 2014. I was born and raised in the Oconee County/Athens area. I attended North Oconee High School, where I was in the first graduating class in 2007. While at NOHS I was on the swim team and was active in the backstage aspects of our theater department. While working towards my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, I continued working backstage during my undergraduate and graduate studies. I love history and having a good, respectful discussion about all kinds of topics. When I am not teaching or nerding out about history, I enjoy reading, swimming, knitting for charity and watching college football.
