Jack P. Nix Elementary
I was born and raised in a small town in Kentucky. With that being said, I am a Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan. I do love the DAWGS though and cheer for them in all sports. I moved to Georgia in 2004 to be closer to family and thankful for moving here.
I am married to my wonderful husband Chris, who helps in the family business. We do not have any children yet, but have 3 nephews we adore, Jack, Will, and Oliver and one more on the way (due in November). We enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, the beach, and attending sporting events.
I attended North Georgia College and State University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and Master of Education Degree.
Before teaching 3rd grade, I taught reading intervention and 2nd grade. I believe it is important for teachers, students, and parents to work together to meet the needs of students. I want my students to always feel they can talk to me, trust me, and have fun with me. Being a teacher is rewarding, hardworking, and a blessing!
