Mr. Chris Watson has over 32 years of mid-level management experience serving the retail industry. Pursuing his long time passion to teach, he has recently switched careers. Holding a Bachelor's degree in business management, he has returned to school to complete his Master's degree in teaching at Liberty University. Mr. Watson spent the first half of the last school year substitute teaching in Habersham and White County schools. The second half of the year he worked with the Tesnatee Gap Elementary school team, serving special education students in grades K-2. Mr. Watson is very excited to begin his career in the teaching field at White County High School in the special education department and co-teaching in Algebra, Geometry, and Math of Industry and Government.
Mr. Watson has been married for 33 years to his best friend, Anne, and they have two grown children, Tiffany and Cody. They also have two beautiful grand-daughters who live in Gainesville. Additionally, they have two fur-babies, Doogan, a Newfoundland, and Sophie, a Bernese Mountain Dog. Mr. Watson enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, caving, and tennis. He is a member and leader of Lanier Christian Church in Gainesville. He also plays drums for his church and for the gospel quartet group, The King's Messengers of Gainesville.
