White County Middle School
Who I am:
I graduated from White County High School in 1997, Truett-McConnell College in 2000, and North Georgia College and State University in 2003 with my Bachelors in History Education.
This is my 13th year teaching at WCMS. I teach 8th grade Social Studies. My goal in teaching is to make my students think, evaluate history and laugh!
I love teaching geography, history, economics, and governments to students. I want them to WANT to learn! My class is very challenging to most, but hard work usually pays off!
I am also the adviser for Yearbook and FCA.
I grew up in White County and am proud to be a Warrior!
I am married to my amazing wife, Courtney Barrett, who teaches 3rd grade at Jack P. Nix.
I am a huge Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog fan! When not at work, I can usually be found at a game!
