Bio:

Hello Everyone! My name is Cheryl Allen and I am the new JPNES 21st Century Site Cordinator. I have lived in Cleveland since I was fourteen years old. I graduated from White Co. High School. I have been married to my husband, Robin Allen, for thirty-seven years. We have 3 wonderful daughters and 2 beautiful granddaughters. We have been blessed with girls!!! I taught first grade at JPN for many years and retired on May 31, 2018. I know so many of you already and look forward to getting to know everyone else. I am very excited about my new job.! Education

I graduated from Piedmont College in 2001 with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I continued my education and graduated in 2006 from North Georgia College where I earned a Master of Education Degree and an endorsement in reading. I then graduated in 2008 from Lincoln Memorial University with an Educational Specialist Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Experience

I have been employed with the White County School System for almost 25 years. I was a paraprofessional for six years and then began my teaching career. I taught third grade for two and first grade for seventeen years. I retired from the classroom on May 31, 2018.
