Bio:

Hello. My name is Carla Porter and I am a first grade teacher here at Tesnatee Gap Elementary School. I grew up in White County and graduated from White County High School. I went to college at the University of North Georgia. After graduating, I was a paraprofessional for four years. This will be my seventh year as a first grade teacher. I have been married to John Porter for fourteen years. We have a 12 year old daughter, Ellie Kate, in the seventh grade at WCMS.
