Jack P. Nix Elementary
Hi, I am "Mrs. Ann". My husband, Freddie, and I have lived in White County for 23 years. We moved from Alabama so we could live in the mountains. We have two daughters, Emily, age 21, and Bridgett, age 19, who are graduates of White County High School. They both now attend the University of North Georgia. I love teaching at Jack P. Nix. It is a great community of learners. This year, I will be teaching 2nd-5th grade Special Education. I teach a combination of resource and co-teaching classes. I love the students I teach and hope to make a positive impact for them and for their families. I believe that developing relationships and establishing long term trust with students lays a firm foundation for learning. Mrs. Pam Jones is the paraprofessional that works in our resource classroom. She has many years of experience at Jack P. Nix. She has a deep understanding of the individual needs of each student and adds a calm and caring element to our class.
