I was raised in Monroe, Georgia and graduated from Monroe Area Comprehensive High School in 2005. I completed four years at the University of Georgia to receive my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and completed an additional year there to receive my Master of Agricultural Leadership. In 2010, I accepted an agriculture education position at White County High School where I began teaching Basic Agriculture to 9th grade students and Horticulture/Nursery Landscape/Floriculture to upperclassmen, as well as, became responsible for the duties of an FFA advisor. I met my wonderful husband when I moved to Cleveland, Georgia in 2010 and we married two years later. Dustin Keener is also an agriculture teacher at White County High School teaching Agriculture Mechanics. We have one son that was born in 2013 named Luke Mason.
