Welcome to 6th grade art.  Art class will allow you to explore many different types of art styles and media. You will be working with and learning about the elements of art, the principles of design and important historical developments in art.

Grading:

Daily grades = 40%

Test grades = 60%

10 points off everyday a project is late.

It is very important that you follow directions and use your time in class wisely.

If you are absent from class it is your responsibility to make up the work you miss. Missing work may be finished during class time, after school, or for homework.  Please make arrangements with me if you need to stay after school to finish a project. 10 points will be taken off projects each day they are late if not turned in on time.

Any outstanding work needs to be turned in by the end of the 9 weeks for credit.

*Keep up with your grades through your personal student/parent login on Infinite Campus. Grades are available 24 hours a day.  Grades are updated on a regular basis. If you do not have your Infinite Campus login please see Mrs. Brooker in the media center.
