Hello Students and Parents!
Welcome to our website, and thank you for your dedication to your child's learning! Here you will find resources we have compiled from around the web to help you work on your child's speech and language skills. Click on the links below to access the resources you can use based on your child's goals. If you have any questions, you can reach us by email or on ParentSquare.
Read a book with your child! Try to pick out all the words with their speech sound. Ask questions about the pictures before and after reading the words. Talk together about things you have done that are just like what is happening in the story. Talk about what might happen next.
Practice making your speech sounds each night in front of the mirror while brushing your teeth. The funnier the faces, the better!
At dinner time, ask questions and have your child retell a story about something they did that day or hope to do tomorrow.
If your child doesn't say a sound correctly or their sentences aren't quite right, THAT'S OKAY! Model for them how it should sound. YOU are their best teacher and they are watching and listening to EVERYTHING you say and do!
