Instructional Tools

The resources found below are tools we have been using with your primary student through the 2020-2021 school year. These are great tools to provide additional support in math and reading. These tools are also your child can do independently or with minimal support from an adult while supporting math and reading at their child's level.

3rd through 6th grade students will access materials, assignments, and lessons in their teacher's Google Classroom. This includes Art, Choir/Band, Science Lab and PE teachers. If you do not see your child's teacher's class, then you may request a code and add the code. Click on the video below to see how to do these tasks.

Accessing Google Classroom from Chromebook (YouTube)

SeeSaw Overview for Parents & Students (YouTube) - Teachers may utilize the SeeSaw app to have students take pictures, videos, or annotate (write on assignment). Here's an overview of how students access SeeSaw from Google Classroom.

RTI Students - We will continue to service our RTI students through Google Classroom. A link will be shared with your child through their homeroom teacher to meet with our interventionists.

Specials (Art, PE, Choir/Band, Science Lab) - We will continue to service our Specials using Google Classroom. Your child will be provided with a link on a daily basis to participate in Specials according to a rotational schedule.

Virtual Learning Expectations:

  • Be on time and ready to learn at the designated time

  • Mute your mic and leave your camera on unless your teacher indicates otherwise

  • Contact teachers for additional support, questions, or concerns during their designated conference period (located on the daily instructional schedule)

  • Work in a quiet, non-distracting place, minimize noise, and dress appropriately (no lessons done from the bed)

NO CELL PHONES unless indicated by your teacher .
