Te Moemoea Pererika
Te Moemoea Pererika School hall is available for hire from Monday to Sunday depending on availability. It is suitable for a very wide range of events. Private parties, public meetings, charitable and fundraising events, child based activities, weddings, christenings, birthdays, kapa haka groups have all hired the hall.
Constructed and completed in 1999. The hall was named after Pererika Twist who was the Principal at the time. Sadly he passed away before it was completed. The kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for catering. The hall seats up to 300, table and chairs are available and other amenities on request. Men and women's toilets have showers and access to a fully equipped disabled toilet. The hall has ceiling gas heaters and can sleep up to 60 or more.
There is a small car park before the school pool for approximately up to 20 cars, with overflow parking on the top end of the school. No parking on school oval grounds.
The Hall backs onto SCION a crown research institute and The Whakarewarewa Redwood Forest, set in a quiet setting overlooking the school oval grounds, home to a adventure playground and a perfect venue for sports events, that may require outside space.
