Q: What is a hackathon?

A: A hackathon is a long event where teams of one to four create applications, solve various needs, and create interesting things with software and/or hardware. The projects and teams are entirely up to you. FREE food, t-shirts, stickers and speaker opportunities from our sponsors... what more could you want?

Q: What should I bring?

A: Computers, cables, your friends and yourself! We will be providing the food, internet, sponsors, swag and workplaces for you.

Q: Speaking of food, what kinds of options are available?

A: We will have four meals as well as around the clock snacks and coffee. If you have an allergy or need accommodation of any form, please let us know. We will have food just for you!

Q: Who is allowed to come?

A: Undergraduate, graduate, and high school students are allowed to participate! Faculty chaperones and members of university/college departments are more than welcome to visit and watch. However, hackers under 18 will need to bring a form signed by their guardian.

A: There will be parking available on Wake Forest's campus.
