About:

This is the first annual minicourse/workshop on smooth dynamical systems and related topics at Wake Forest University. The basic funding of the workshop is provided by NSF DMS-2418590 and NSF DMS-1845416. The workshop is also supported by the Department of Mathematics at Wake Forest Unvierstiy.

The workshop will feature:

• A minicourse on smooth dynamical systems (Jan 07 - 09) for graduate and advanced undergraduate students.

• A special session organized by Zhenqi Wang (Michigan State University).

The Piedmont Triad International (PTI) Airport (GSO) (google map) in Greensboro is the closest airport to campus—about a 30-minute drive. 

Lodging Information:

The conference will take place at the Reynolda Campus of Wake Forest University. Participants should make their own hotel reservations, guaranteed with a valid credit card, and pay for their lodging at the hotel during checkout. We recommend the following options:

There are many hotels in downtown Winston-Salem, such as Fairfield Inn and Suites and Embassy Suites by Hilton Winston Salem, that are within walking distance of Wake Downtown. From there, one can take the intercampus shuttle to the Reynolda Campus.

The Best Western Plus University Inn (1-336-723-2911) and Courtyard Winston-Salem University (1-336-727-1277) are both within walking distance of Wake Forest University, Reynolda Campus. 

The Graylyn Estate is affiliated with Wake Forest University and is within walking distance. Guests can book their reservations over the phone by calling 1-336-758-2425. You can also go online at The Graylyn Estate.

Should you decide to change your arrival/departure dates or if you should decide not to attend, please contact the hotel directly if you have made a reservation. Please note: cancellation fees, early departure fees, and no-show policies are effective.
