Where Students are Learning for Life!
Attention Parents & Guardians...We Need Your Input!
The West Fork School District is teaming up with the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and other school districts across the state to look at the research of Dr. Robert Marzano and his High Reliability Schools (HRS) framework. In doing so, school districts have been given free access to the surveys created out of this research that will provide valuable perceptual data that will be compiled and analyzed by Hanover Research and returned to each participating school district to use as they wish to improve their schools.
We ask that you please take part in this brief, yet valuable level 1 survey that measures stakeholders’ perception of the factors considered foundational to the well-being of a school. The survey is linked to this message and will be available until February 19th. The district will use the results of the survey to help determine what is already working well in our schools and identify areas in need of focused attention.
Thank you for your continued support.
John Karnes, Superintendent
Parents & Community Members:
The Board of Education and Superintendent John Karnes want to encourage you to look over the district's newly-approved Five-Year Strategic Plan. This plan will help guide all decision-making within the district and will be reviewed annually to evaluate the progress being made towards reaching identified goals. Please feel free to forward your thoughts, concerns, and/or questions about the plan to email@example.com. Your input would be greatly appreciated!
A School of Innovation
The West Fork High School and Middle School were recently awarded the status of School of Innovation. As such, we strive to meet each student at their current academic state and help them achieve their personal best.
