William Floyd High School Online Education Launches for Grades 9-12

Mar 23 2020 10:52 AM

Canvas, an online learning platform, is now open for William Floyd High School students in grades 9-12. Please note that this platform is only available for high school students at this time.

As we do not know how long this pandemic will last, the district has been preparing Canvas for use at the middle school level, and also working on a Google-based platform for grades K-5, which will allow for online digital learning and teacher engagement for all grade levels. The district has been working around the clock preparing these platforms K-8. Additional information will be communicated in the coming days. Students in grades K-8 should continue working on their two-week review packets. Additional information regarding K-8 learning will be communicated in the coming days.

We thank you for your patience throughout this time (now beginning just the second week without school in session) as we work to completely move education online for the duration of this public health crisis.
