Activities, Tasks and Kit Add On's
BOCES 4 Science extension investigations/activities -- for teachers, parents, and students to continue science exploration when not in the classroom.
BOCES 4 Science Low Tech Science Tasks (pdf) -- at home tasks that allow students to learn science by going outside to observe and discover the world around them.
BOCES 4 Science Kit Add On's -- kits to provide students with individual instructional materials, and help limit the use of shared supplies. An “Add-On” kit supplements the use of the primary BOCES 4 Science resource kit with some additional supplies to support learning for all students (based on materials provided in primary kit and “Add-On” kit) in school, at home, or in a hybrid setting
What is BOCES?
BOCES stands for Board of Cooperative Educational Services. BOCES are public organizations created by the New York State Legislature in 1948 to provide shared educational programs and services to school districts.
What is BOCES 4 Science?
BOCES 4 Science is a collaborative effort between BOCES in the Mid-Western New York State region (JMT). BOCES 4 Science is a science program service developed through a partnership between the BOCES.
