BOCES 4 Science is a collaborative effort between BOCES in the Mid-Western New York State region(JMT). BOCES 4 Science is a science program service developed though a partnership between the BOCES.

In science class, the term adaptation represents a change that allows an organism to function better in a particular environment. The landscape of science curriculum is changing and driving educators to look for new opportunities to collaborate.
What is BOCES?
BOCES stands for Board of Cooperative Educational Services. BOCES are public organizations created by the New York State Legislature in 1948 to provide shared educational programs and services to school districts.
BOCES 4 Science, also know as the Mid-West Joint Management Team (JMT), supports sixty six public school districts in a nine county region.
Is to retool and modernize our science and STEM programs curriculum and to develop shared science resources.
The JMT prepares students for careers in:
- Research and Development
- Next Generation Manufacturing and Technology
- Higher Education and Research.
