For the next 15 years, Mr. Petersen worked in the Kettle Moraine School District as the orchestra director and worked with beginners through 12th grade at various times during his tenure with students there.  Mr. Petersen developed a Rock-based orchestra at the Middle School called the KMMS Rockestra which performed annually before Milwaukee Bucks games. Mr. Petersen has forged strong relationships with the Bucks, Lawrence University and Electrify Your Strings. He is excited to bring these wonderful opportunities to the fantastic people in Whitefish Bay!

Mr. Petersen is passionate about creating community through music. He really values strong relationships with students, staff, parents and the community. Playing a string instrument is such a wonderfully expressive art form and he is so excited to share his passion and love for music with the students he works with in Whitefish Bay.
