BASIC COURSE
None
ADVANCED COURSE (Type B)
Participants registering for the Advanced course must have successfully completed the GMA Basic Training course. Please provide your Basic course certificate via the payment page upload or email it to info@wesynchealthhk.com.
Participants are HIGHLY encouraged to bring their own video recordings of GMs in order to review them with your peer trainees
Participants may enroll in both the BASIC and ADVANCED courses simultaneously. However, please note the following conditions:
Mandatory Testing: You must pass the BASIC course test to be eligible to attend the ADVANCED course.
Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS will be issued if a participant fails the BASIC course and is therefore unable to attend the ADVANCED course.
Video requirements for Advanced course
Short developmental trajectories, are preferred to single videos, but not mandatory.
Gestational age of the infant at birth
Any significant history
Postmenstrual / postterm age at the video time points, and the outcome, if available (in this case, a mix of cases with normal and abnormal outcome should be ideal).
The videos should be on flash drives/external hard drive storage as the speaker will not store them on their computers.

Professor Alicia Spittle
Alicia Spittle is a paediatric physiotherapist, the Associate Dean Research (ADR) in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne, and international leader in early detection of motor impairments and early intervention for infants at high risk of developmental impairments. Alicia works clinically in the neonatal intensive care unit and follow-up clinic at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne and as a lecturer in Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
BASIC COURSE
Assess typically developing infants using the General Movement Assessment;
Assess infants with brain lesions using the General Movement Assessment;
Describe how to incorporate the General Movement Assessment technique into their clinical and research practices;
Distinguish between typical and atypical general movements in developing infants using the General Movement Assessment.
ADVANCED COURSE (Type B)
Assess the components of general movements including speed, amplitude, intensity, and rotations during the preterm and term age.
Evaluate the individual trajectory of developing infants using the assessment of components of general movements.
Assess fidgety movements and the concurrent motor repertoire (movements and postures) in 3-5 month old infants.
Discuss their own diagnosis of developing infants using infant movement assessment illustrated with their own recordings.

Rainstorm Black Warning:
The course delivery order will be rearranged as agreed upon by the speaker.
If Rainstorm Black Warning is hoisted in the midst of the course during face-to-face mode, the course will continue at the venue.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Confirmation & Receipt
Online payment - Instant confirmation of seat. An official WeSync Health confirmation email and electronic receipt will be sent to the participant within 2 business days of the payment.
Payment other than online payment - An official confirmation email and electronic receipt will be sent to the participant within 3 business days after the payment. Please email us info@wesynchealthhk.com a photo or snapshot of the payment slip/ transaction page to speed up the confirmation process.
If an official hard copy receipt is required, please send your request to info@wesynchealthhk.com and state your FULL NAME and COURSE NAME in the email. The receipt will be issued to you on the Day 1 of the course.
If the receipt is for the purpose of reimbursement and needs to be addressed to your organisation or company or have any other requests, please email info@wesynchealthhk.com and state your FULL NAME, COURSE NAME and REQUEST(S) clearly in the email.
Last day of requesting a hard copy receipt is 5 business days prior to the commencement of the course start date.
Certificate
Certificates are issued by the GM-Trust and emailed to participants by WeSync Health. Only participants who completed 100% of the course (verified by daily sign-in and sign-out sheets) and took the end of the course test with a passing score can be issued a GM-Trust certificate.
The certificate will be sent to eligible participants electronically by WeSync Health course@wesynchealthhk.com.
Cancellation, Withdrawal, Transfer and Refund Policy
WeSync Health will try its best NOT to cancel the course. An alternative teaching mode may be arranged under special circumstances (please refer to Arrangement of Extreme Weather Conditions).
Should the course have to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, WeSync Health will reschedule the event whenever possible. There will be NO REFUND if the participant is not able to attend the rescheduled event. WeSync Health will notify participants as soon as possible via email and WhatsApp on any updates and re-arrangements.
Participants who wish to withdraw from the course MUST EMAIL info@wesynchealthhk.com to receive a refund of the course.
Refunds will arranged as follows:
Withdrawal from the course must be received in writing NO LATER than 11:59 PM (GMT +8, Hong Kong Time), 12 August 2026 to receive a refund minus HKD $2,000.00 administration fee. The refund will be deposited to the participant's designated Hong Kong bank account.
Refund by cheque (only limited to Hong Kong banks) is available upon request by email to info@wesynchealthhk.com.
If the participant wishes to be refunded directly to the participant’s account other than a Hong Kong bank account e.g., credit card/ Paypal/ overseas bank account, HKD $2000.00 administration fee (by WeSync Heath) and any additional transaction fee/ process fee (by your bank/ payment platform) will be applied and will be charged to the participant's account.
No refund requests will be accepted AFTER 11:59 PM (GMT +8, Hong Kong Time), 12 August 2026. The full course fee will be forfeited.
Substitution for another participant is allowed. Substitutions must be submitted in writing by 1 October, 2026 to info@wesynchealthhk.com, otherwise the substitution cannot be honoured. HKD $300.00 administration fee will be charged for re-issuing the electronic receipt to the substitute participant.
If the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, WeSync Health is NOT responsible for any losses on participant’s expenses e.g., flight tickets, accommodation fees etc.
No transfer of fee to another course is allowed.

Copying of any forms such as recording, reproducing, photo-taking; adaption or any other use of all or any part of the training materials without permission is strictly prohibited.
WeSync Health reserves the rights of the final decision on enrollment and cancellation of the course due to unforeseen circumstances.
