Hi there! My name is Bethany Knudsen. I am excited to be starting my 15th year of teaching and my 8th year at West Valley School. I've had the privilege of teaching 3rd and 4th grade during my career. I was born and raised here in Kalispell and had the opportunity to attend Edgerton back in it's first few years as the "new" school. 

My passion is putting exciting and engaging books into kids' hands. I am a big proponent of children being able to choose books that peak their interest, whether that's a graphic novel, picture book, or chapter book. My goal is to make learning fun and engaging through the use of music, brain breaks, learning games, and frequent use of technology with our 1:1 Chromebooks.
