In 1995, Dr. Jim Welsch asked 5th grade teacher and former professional actor Ben Frimmer to reimagine what a theatre program could look like in a middle school. Coleytown Company was created in order to promote excellence in theatre while fostering self-esteem and developing the creative potential of students in all aspects of theatre.
