Sara Shumaker,  President of the West Perry Student Council speaks about whether or not we will have our annual sadies dance and when it could possibly be.

Shumaker knows for a fact that we will have a sadies dance.  She states,  “We are considering a venue this year for homecoming. But Sadie Hawkins I don't expect it to be as popular Especially with the upperclassman not being here, but the new freshman and sophmores seem to be pretty interested.” She believes this years dance population will be maybe 200 at most

She has not figured out a date yet, however, she states that it would be held sometime around the beginning/ middle of march because of the timing of prom and it's just better when it's in the more springy months because short dresses and it's cold.

Shumakers answer to the question, “Will we have a sadies dance this year and why?” was,  “Yes because we always have it every year.”  This statement is true,  so we can assume we will have one every year.  Unless something financially will come up.

Hearing from other students, they were also not happy about the ticket situation.  Student Council did not expect to run out of tickets.  Then once they did, and announced that they were no longer selling tickets people threw a living fit.  Hearing from multiple sources of people complaining about the fact that they did not get their tickets.  

Parents even went as far as calling the advisor, Mr. Bizzle, complaining about how their kid had already bought a dress but have not bought their ticket.  So, they were denied to go.  Then, after multiple complaints, Student Co. decided to print out 115 more tickets to make people happy.
