On April 14, Shane Carino, a graphic designer in the Harrisburg Magazine, came to meet with the Creative Writing Club and with the Whip Club to show some color theory and tips on future magazines. This presentation started with a slideshow of different pieces of work the Harrisburg Magazine has used. 

She also showed the group some of the color theory she has learned and how to place specific words with specific colors. She then gave us some small tasks of looking through old magazines to find some color theory and organization we enjoyed. 

She continued with specifics on covers of the magazines and how to grab buyers attention with the color and theory she had presented to us. We were then told to create our own cover for whatever we wanted to show what we had learned. 

Overall, Shane did an amazing job informing both clubs for future productions of From the Margins and The Whip.
