At the West Perry High School Homecoming event, students were assigned a ¨Howdy Hoco¨ theme. During the event, students were interviewed to decide who's outfit stuck out the most.
Many students had opinions and perspectives on eachother´s outfits. Elizabeth Keeseman was interviewed at this event and had said, ¨Payton´s dress is the prettiest here, the blue really makes her eyes pop.¨ While Keeseman exclaimed her opinion, she could not help but admire the dress Payton Higginbotham was wearing. After Higginbotham was mentioned, she was then questioned as well. Having been asked if she thought her outfit was the best, she replied with, ¨I chose this dress because the shade of blue stuck out to me, lots of the other girls seemed to have found their color as well.¨ This being said, color is a big part when choosing an outfit. Some colors look better on some people, you just have to find yours.
Taking in another perspective, Hannah Maschak was interviewed with the same question of who the best dressed was and stated, ¨Kaylin´s dress is the best, the glitter and sparkles really show her personality.¨ While Maschak finished up her interview, a great amount of joy spread across her face as she knew that now others would get to know how beautiful Kaylin Mitten and her personality was. Mitten was then interviewed, letting us know what she thought of her friend´s opinion, ¨I'm surprised Hannah would say that because I didn't really want to stick out. I didn't know that my personality would come out so much when I had picked my dress.¨ This goes to show that people's personalities seem to come out in unexpected ways in all types of scenarios.
In conclusion, many people have their own separate opinions on each other. However, it all comes down to showing your true colors, both in style and personality, to express yourself in a way that is the best and most positive you.
