8th Science

Here are some 8th grade resources for the study of physics.

Physics Girl - Dianna Cowern, host of Physics Girl shows us how the physical world works by using everyday experiments and questions to demonstrate basic (and sometimes, dangerously complex) scientific ideas.

Snowflake Physics -Explore the formation and molecular structure of ice and learn how the typical six-sided shape of snowflakes is due to the arrangement of water molecules in a hexagonal crystal lattice. This interactive activity adapted from SnowCrystals.com.
