Important Class Projects
Students must meet demanding deadlines regarding the planning, the designing, the writing, and the scheduling for the yearbook. Class activities include writing copy, laying out pages, designing section and pages, fulfilling photographic assignments, attending journalistic conferences, selling ads to support the yearbook, and selling and distributing the final product. This course may be repeated with teacher approval.

Deadlines in this class are extremely important, so much so that students will be released from the course if they don’t meet their deadlines and due dates. Also, this class requires coverage of after-school events and activities.
