Build decision-making and leadership skills while applying classroom knowledge in a real and career-specific setting. Career Internship can be a great resume enhancer and conversation piece during your next job interview and/or scholarship application.

Important Class Projects
During the first semester, students will complete activities that will prepare them for finding an internship and being successful at their site. These activities include:
- Resume-writing
- Interview skills
- Job skills
- Attendance at the WHS Internship Fair
During the second semester, students will report to an internship location for a total of 50 hours of work experience.

Previous internship placements have included: Engineering, Construction, Culinary Arts, Medical, Dentistry, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Interior Design, Journalism, and Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. We also have a strong relationship with the City of Westminster which offers opportunities in a variety of departments.
