Interested in getting REAL work experience during 11th and 12th grade years of high school? WPS has partnered with CareerWise Apprenticeship program to provide our students an opportunity to develop valuable work skills (while also getting paid!). Students apply for an apprenticeship site in one of five areas (Advanced Manufacturing, Finance, Business Operations, Technology, Healthcare) during their sophomore year. If approved, students would spend a large part of their school day at the worksite, as well as taking relevant college courses for free.
