This course builds on the systems and information gained in Engine Technology. This course will use the fundamentals of engines systems and move on to the use of technical drawing and manuals for the diagnosis and service of systems and components responsible for power transmission in equipment used in the agriculture, construction, transportation, and landscaping industries. This course focuses on the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems of equipment and the transmission of power. Content includes understanding of system design, reading schematics, and troubleshooting of system operations along with identification of components and their application of equipment and implements. This course is designed to provide hands-on and practical application for employment in the engine and equipment technology industry.
