Some of the projects that students will work on in this class include:
Introduces Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) federal and state regulations, industrial practices, and accident investigation techniques;
including topics such as hazard communication standards, lockout/tagout procedures, eye safety, lifting techniques, electrical safety, stored energy safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and safety program development and monitoring.

This course will be offered at the Ranum campus. Students will be provided one-way transportation and the course will be double-blocked in either the morning or afternoon. Students will sign a contract committing to participation in the entirety of the course.
