This class will allow students to “dig deeper” into the fields of biotechnology and biomedical science by investigating topics that will become the future of healthcare, as well as subjects that are at the frontier of modern medicine. Students in this course will have the opportunity to work with ground-breaking biotechnology and biomedical engineering, as well as biomedical manufacturing, to follow in the footsteps of scientists and engineers who have cured diseases and won Nobel prizes.
Prerequisite (classes you must take first): Completion of Eng/Lang 2 and Integrated Math 2 (or equivalent)

This class would be a great option for any student who is interested in a career in the medical, health care, or bioscience field. This course would also be a great experience for any student who enjoys hands-on learning, laboratory experiments, and solving problems using innovation and exploration.

Other Info you should know
This course will be offered at the new Ranum campus beginning in the Fall of 2024. Students will be provided one-way transportation and the course will be double-blocked in either the morning or afternoon. Students will sign a contract committing to participation in the entirety of the course.
Students may be able to earn core credit through engagement in these courses.
